Disrespectful colleague

I am 25 years old and I work at an export department of a production company. I have a 39-year-old female colleague who acts disrespectful with me all the time. From the moment I started the job she started mocking me and harassing me – calling me names, etc. I am an introvert and I don’t speak a lot. I am afraid that if I fight back at her idiotic comments and insults I will lose my job since she has worked there for a lot longer. I have thought of reporting her behaviour but she is on very good terms with the boss and he wouldn’t do shit about it.What should I do?

  1. Learn to open your mouth and say something and stop being a victim. If you don’t say something, you will eat shit your entire life.
You don’t have to call her/him a piece of shit. You can just think it while you are responding to her rude and insulting comments.
Speak quietly and clearly to her. Look her directly in the eye and say what’s bothering you and be as respectful and polite as possible.
Then write down what happened, when it happened and the date that happened. Her comment and your reply.
Discuss it weekly with the boss and let him/her know you are taking note of an issue and expect him/her to recognize the disrespect and do something about it OR you go above your supervisors head. Write down everything and report it.
Once you do that….it’s going to either get better. Show the bully you can speak for yourself or you will always be a victim.
